Our first year was more than we could have hoped for. The live music, BBQ vendors, retail vendors, backyard BBQ teams, sponsors, volunteers, judges, town support, and everyone who came out helped turn this into a true community event.

Most importantly, because of your generosity, our Feeding Our Community foodraiser collected over 15 full 55-gallon drums of non-perishable food to help support local families in need.

That is an incredible result for a first-year event, and it only happened because so many people showed up, brought donations, shared the event, volunteered their time, sponsored the festival, competed, judged, performed, vended, and supported the idea from the beginning.

A huge thank you to our sponsors and community partners for helping make the event possible. Your support allowed us to keep admission free, bring live music to East Rochester, welcome vendors and BBQ teams, and create a weekend centered around food, music, family, and giving back.

Thank you to the BBQ teams who competed in our backyard cook-off, the judges who helped us run the contest, the food and retail vendors who joined us for the weekend, and the musicians who brought energy to the stage.

Thank you to the Town/Village officials, police, public works, and everyone behind the scenes who helped us plan, prepare, and safely run the event.

Thank you to our volunteers, staff, friends, and family who gave their time before, during, and after the festival. Events like this take a lot of work, and we could not have done it without you.

And most of all, thank you to everyone who came out and donated food. Seeing that pile of donations grow throughout the weekend was the best part of the event.

Good Smoke BBQ Fest was created to bring people together, celebrate BBQ, support local businesses, enjoy live music, and give back to the community. After this first year, we are even more excited about what this event can become.
