Retail Vendor Information
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Good Smoke BBQ Fest with the ROC BBQ Village! We are excited to feature a variety of retail vendors, artisans, makers, and local businesses as part of this year's festival experience.
Vendor Space & Fees
- The retail vendor fee is $100 for the full event weekend. Fees are only collected after your application has been reviewed and approved.
- Each retail vendor will receive approximately one 10' x 10' vendor space unless otherwise approved by event organizers.
- Vendors must keep all tents, tables, displays, inventory, and equipment within their assigned space.
Event Benefits
- Vendor listing and promotional coverage on the festival website and social media for up to one year following the event.
- Opportunity to market and sell products directly to festival attendees throughout the event weekend.
Permitted Merchandise
- Retail vendors may sell approved merchandise, handmade goods, packaged foods, apparel, artwork, crafts, sauces, rubs, BBQ accessories, and similar retail products.
- Vendors may not sell products that directly conflict with exclusive event sponsors or prohibited items determined by festival organizers.
- Sale of alcohol, beverages, tobacco, cannabis products, weapons, or illegal items is strictly prohibited.
Electricity & Utilities
- Limited low-amperage electricity may be available for basic lighting or point-of-sale systems only and is not guaranteed.
- Vendors requiring electricity should notify organizers in advance.
- Vendors are responsible for supplying all extension cords, lighting, tents, tables, chairs, displays, and any other equipment needed for operation.
- No water hookups are provided for retail vendors.
Event Hours & Operations
- This is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be issued due to weather or circumstances beyond event control.
- Vendors are expected to remain open and staffed during all public event hours.
- Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional vendor space throughout the event.
Load-In / Load-Out Schedule
Saturday, September 19th
- 7:00 – 10:00 AMVendor Load-In
- By 12:00 PMFully set up & ready for business
Sunday, September 20th
- By 9:00 PMAll vendors & equipment removed from grounds
Vehicles & Parking
- Vendor vehicles must be removed from the vendor area after unloading unless specifically approved by festival organizers.
- Vendors will be directed to designated vendor parking areas.
Tents & Safety
- All tents must be properly weighted or secured.
- Vendors may not stake tents into pavement unless approved by event organizers.
- Vendors using generators must use QUIET inverter-style generators only.
- A fire extinguisher is recommended for all vendor booths and required if using any electrical or powered equipment.
Permits & Tax Requirements
- Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting all applicable sales tax.
- Vendors are responsible for obtaining any permits or licenses required for their operation.
Festival Management
- Festival organizers reserve the right to refuse or revoke vendor participation at any time for safety concerns, policy violations, disruptive conduct, excessive noise, unauthorized sales, or failure to comply with event rules.
Retail Vendor Application
This is an application only — no payment is collected at this time. We review every submission and will email approved vendors a private payment link with the booth fee.
